Working with ForKids can save you vacancy, advertising, and eviction costs. Just call us when you have a unit coming available and we’ll match you up with a client who is looking for housing! If you ever have an issue with a ForKids tenant, let us step in and place a new client with you. Your rent keeps getting paid, another client gains housing, and the prior tenant isn’t barred from other housing opportunities because of an eviction.
Every tenant is a gamble, right? We alleviate some of the risk of renting your property by providing financial assistance. Most of our clients are eligible for deposit assistance equal to 2 month’s rent and also have access to time-limited subsidies while they get back on their feet.
Third party to mediate problems
If problems arise, you can call us. We care about our relationship with our landlords as much as we do our clients! The job of a Case Manager is to offer support and information regarding landlord and tenant responsibilities and to help mediate if problems arise. Case Managers conduct regular home visits to support the clients in increasing their income, budgeting their finances, and maintaining their apartments.

Less paperwork and time involved
If you’re familiar with working with other rental assistance programs like Section 8, you know how much paperwork is involved and how much time it takes to get from an application approval to a lease signing. ForKids has MUCH less paperwork! After an approved application, we can get clients into a unit within 1 week.
